Media personality and fashion influencer Priscilla Ojo Mkambala has said jewellery valued in the millions went missing around the time of her wedding.
In a post shared on her Snapchat, Priscilla said she recently discovered empty jewellery boxes while arranging her closet and realised some items were no longer there. She said the jewellery was taken during her wedding period when someone she trusted had access to her room.
“To whoever stole my Van Cleef during my wedding period, you can also come and take the boxes oo. I just found the boxes while setting up my closet and I realised how wicked the person I trusted to have access to my room could steal from me. Also careless of me to think I could trust everyone then. Lesson learnt, we move!” she wrote.
Priscilla married Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in 2025. The couple held wedding ceremonies in Tanzania and Lagos, with the Lagos celebration drawing widespread attention on social media due to the scale of the event and the presence of celebrities.
The wedding later became a subject of public discussion after videos from the event circulated online. Her mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, subsequently confirmed that she was questioned by the EFCC over currency spraying at the ceremony.
Priscilla has not said whether the missing jewellery has been reported to the police or if any steps are being taken to recover the items.
