Catherine, Princess of Wales wore a green dress as members of the royal family hosted President Bola Tinubu and Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle.

The banquet held on Wednesday was attended by senior royals, including Prince William and Queen Camilla.

The princess’s outfit reflected the colour of Nigeria’s flag.

Earlier in the day, she and Prince William received the president and his wife before escorting them to meet King Charles III.

The royal family hosted the Nigerian delegation at the banquet, which formed part of the state visit.

Guests included Nigerians in sports, entertainment and other fields.

During the event, the king spoke about ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom and the role of Nigerians living in Britain.

He also used Nigerian expressions in his speech and ended with a toast to Nigeria.

“Naija No dey Carry Last,” he said.

The programme also included exchange of gifts between both sides.

President Tinubu presented the king with an Eyo statuette linked to a festival in Lagos, while the king gave him a ceramic plate.

Queen Camilla and Oluremi Tinubu also exchanged gifts.

The visit will continue with other engagements, including meetings and events in London.
