Actress Joke Jigan has opened up about her struggles since welcoming her second child, saying she does not plan to get pregnant again.
Joke made the statement in an Instagram post, weeks after announcing the birth of her baby boy, Mateo.
She wrote, “Pregnancy is a blessing but I won’t be doing it again. I tell you that!!! Can’t remember the last time I had a good sleep. To even do business video sef na war.”
The 36-year-old got engaged to businessman Olawale Jegunmah in 2017. The couple tied the knot at the Ikoyi registry in July 2023, six years after their engagement. Their traditional wedding was held earlier that year.
Their union produced a son before they welcomed baby Mateo in June.
Joke Jigan is best known for her roles in Yoruba films and also runs a business on the side. Despite her recent childbirth, the actress has kept up with her online store promotions, although she admitted it has not been easy.
