Tiktoker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has escaped harm after a fire broke out at his new Lagos residence early on Saturday.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, flames were seen coming from the generator at his home. The blaze was put out after people at the scene used buckets of water. The generator was completely destroyed, but the house and everyone inside were not hurt.
Peller wrote in the caption on Instagram:
“This happen early this morning, my new generator almost burn down my new house, but God saved us, it take us over 30 minutes to off the fire, All I can say is God saved us.”
He appeared shaken in the video as he called for help to put out the fire.
As of the time of filing this report, the exact cause of the fire has not been confirmed by emergency authorities.
Peller, who began his online career in late 2020, is one of Nigeria’s most followed content creators with millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram.
