Former senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David Parish and founder of The Family Fellowship, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, is counting down to the 62nd birthday of his wife, Siju Iluyomade, on Thursday, January 8.

In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, Pastor Iluyomade celebrated his wife with multiple endearing expressions, writing, “Mon Cherie, Mi Amor, My Tesoro mio, My Sugar Baby and Azuka Betito.”

He described her as “Inspirational, chic, classic, quintessential, paradigmatic, and an epitome of love, beauty and brain.”

Commenting on the countdown to her birthday, he added, “Countdown to the D-Day. Thursday 8th January. I can’t wait, Love you beyond words.”

The cleric’s message highlighted not only his affection but also the admiration he has for his wife’s impact on his life and family.

The Family Fellowship also shared a tribute on social media, emphasising her contributions and character, “Counting down to January 8th-the birthday of a woman who embodies Grace, Strength, and the Spirit of Love. Pastor (Dr) Siju Iluyomade is a vessel of hope and a builder of lives.”

The church noted that as her birthday approaches, they honour her vision and the warmth she brings to those around her.

Siju Iluyomade, a businesswoman and founder of Arise Women, previously celebrated her 60th birthday in Lagos in 2024 with a two-part event.

The celebration began with a thanksgiving service at Trinity Towers, City of David, followed by a reception at Eko Hotels and Suites.

Guests included prominent figures such as Folorunsho Alakija, Tony Elumelu and Toke Makinwa.

The event featured performances by musicians Lilian Nneji, Adeyinka Alaseyori, saxophonist Pastor Kunle Ajayi and pop highlife singer Flavour.

Following the 60th birthday celebrations, Pastor Iluyomade and his wife were suspended as RCCG City of David overseers, a decision that coincided with the death of former Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe.

The couple later launched The Family Fellowship, holding their first public service on January 19, 2025, at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Iluyomades have since returned to public engagements, attending high-profile events and releasing a gospel song, “No One Can Thank You Enough”, in November 2025.
