BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has issued a strong warning to housemates of Season 10, urging them to stay active or risk eviction.
Speaking during the second launch on Sunday night, where 14 new male housemates were introduced, Ebuka reminded contestants that the game had officially begun and there would be no room for laziness.
He said the show had started that day, adding that any housemate who planned to “use the first week to get to know the housemates” would lose valuable time. He added, “We need people that have energy.”
Ebuka also warned them not to sleep for more than two hours during the day, noting that oversleeping or promoting brands too early in the game could lead to eviction.
“Nobody should come and sleep for two hours during the day,” he said. “Don’t start doing promotion for brands yet. That might get you evicted.”
However, he encouraged the housemates to enjoy the moment and be expressive. “Don’t be afraid to have fun, speak your mind. Enjoy yourselves in that house and make friends,” he told them.
The warning comes after a major twist was introduced to the show’s format, with housemates split into two groups and a new Interim Head of House role added.
Season 10 of Big Brother Naija, themed “BBNaija: 10 Over 10,” premiered on July 28 with 20 contestants.
The addition of 14 male housemates during the second launch brought the total number to 34, the highest in the show’s history.
