Victor Osimhen has reached 50 goals for Galatasaray, becoming the fastest player to achieve the milestone for the club since 2000.
The Nigerian striker hit the mark in 59 appearances, according to data published by Transfermarkt on Saturday.
He reached the figure 10 games earlier than Mauro Icardi, who scored his 50th Galatasaray goal in 69 matches after joining the club in 2022.
Bafétimbi Gomis follows with 50 goals in 74 games.
Osimhen scored his 50th goal in Galatasaray’s 3–1 win over Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Super Lig, netting the third goal after Gabriel Sara’s two first-half goals.
The strike came in his first league match after returning from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The 27-year-old did not score in Galatasaray’s previous match, a 1–1 draw against Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, but reached the milestone in the following fixture.
Osimhen scored 37 goals in 41 matches during his first season at Galatasaray and has added 13 goals in the current campaign to take his total to 50.
He joined the Turkish club permanently in the summer after a loan spell from Napoli.
Galatasaray remain in contention in domestic competitions and continue their Champions League campaign, with Osimhen playing a central role in their attack.
