The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has announced that former Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State will be among the panellists at its 2025 annual conference.
The conference, which will hold on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, has the theme: “Reconciling Campaign Promises with Governance Realities: Challenges and Prospects.”
According to a statement by GOCOP publicity secretary, Remmy Nweke, other members of the panel include Lanre Issa-Onilu, director-general of the National Orientation Agency (NOA); Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi, registrar of Baze University, Abuja; and Prof. Abigail Ogwezzy-Ndisika, director of the Institute of Continuing Education at the University of Lagos.
Nweke recalled that GOCOP had earlier announced Aminu Masari, former speaker of the House of Representatives and past governor of Katsina State, as the keynote speaker for the event.
