A video showing the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi interacting with comedian Taaooma and actor Jigan Babaoja has gained wide attention on social media.
The clip began circulating shortly after the monarch unveiled a new branch of Ojaja Mall in Ajah, Lagos State.
After the business event, the Ooni met with creatives present, including Taaooma and Jigan.
In the video, the monarch addressed Taaooma by her comedy character name, “Quadri,” and jokingly asked her to punch Jigan Babaoja.
Taaooma immediately stood up and moved toward Jigan, prompting laughter and surprise from those present.
Before any action could take place, the Ooni stopped her, drawing more laughter from the room.
Amused by her response, the monarch asked why she did not hesitate.
Taaooma replied that she had long wanted to punch Jigan, suggesting it was part of a playful exchange between the entertainers.
Jigan Babaoja responded by warning Taaooma to keep her distance, joking that he would respond if she came any closer.
