Actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has released the official trailer for her film Mother’s Love following its selection for international film festivals.

The film marks Omotola’s first outing as a director. She also produced the project and edited the script. The family drama centres on a character named Adebisi and explores a strained mother and daughter relationship shaped by grief, control and personal choices.
The film has already gained international attention. It was officially selected for the Toronto International Film Festival held in September 2025 and the Pan African Film & Arts Festival, both known for showcasing global and African storytelling.
Omotola, who has built a long acting career in Nollywood and beyond, described the project as a story that examines family bonds and the emotional cost of love and protection.
Mother’s Love is scheduled for release in Nigerian cinemas in March.
