Singer Omawumi Megbele, popularly known as Omawumi, has marked 10 years of love and friendship with her husband Tosin Yusuf, in a heartwarming celebration.
On Thursday, the 42-year-old shared a video on Instagram featuring herself, her husband and their two children.
Reflecting on their decade-long union, Omawumi expressed gratitude for her husband’s love, understanding and for making life stress-free.
“10 years of love and friendship! Wow! Happy anniversary, my love! We did it, and we will continue to do it!” she wrote.
“I am truly grateful for you; life with you is stress-free (apart from some small sqoin here and there). You have made it so easy. Thank you for your love and understanding, and I want to thank myself, too!
“My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen our bond, may our children be blessed, and may we continue to smile and be joyful! I love you, my Baba K and F.”
Omawumi and Tosin tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in her hometown of Warri, Delta State, in 2018.
However, their love story began long before their marriage.
The couple is blessed with two children—a son and a daughter.
