Rapper Olamide has clapped back at a social media user who mocked him for frequently using TikTok.
The fan had teased the YBNL boss, saying: “You don become TikToker like this lol.”
Olamide, known for his witty responses, did not let the comment slide. He fired back, saying:
“If you get business no promote am big boy!”
The exchange, which took place on X (formerly Twitter), quickly gained attention, with many users praising the rapper for turning the criticism into a lesson on self-promotion.

In recent years, TikTok has become a promotional tool for Nigerian artistes, with the likes of Davido, Burna Boy and Asake using the platform to tease new songs and engage fans.
Olamide, who has over 11 million Instagram followers, is also expected to release a new album later this year, following the success of his 2023 joint project Unruly with Fireboy DML.
