Odumeje makes grand entrance at Flavour’s Flytime Fest concert

Prophet Odumeje

General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, made a grand entrance at Flavour’s concert on Monday at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.

His appearance came during Flavour’s performance at Flytime Fest, one of Nigeria’s major end of year music events.

The cleric walked onto the stage to loud cheers as Flavour introduced him to the audience.

Odumeje is known for his dramatic preaching style, controversial statements and viral videos on social media.

Over the years, clips of his sermons have attracted wide attention online, often sparking debates and memes.

At the concert, Odumeje and Flavour performed their song ‘War Ready’, which blends gospel themes with highlife and contemporary sounds.

The track is part of Flavour’s album Afroculture, released this year.

Since its release, the song has drawn mixed reactions, with some listeners praising its creativity while others questioned the blending of church imagery with secular music.

Flavour, whose full name is Chinedu Okoli, performed several of his hit songs during the show, keeping the crowd engaged.

Odumeje’s appearance was among the notable moments of the night.

Flytime Fest, which runs over several days, features Nigerian and international artistes and attracts large audiences annually.

This year’s edition has continued that tradition.

After the show, photos and videos of Odumeje on stage with Flavour circulated widely on social media, drawing reactions from fans.

In recent years, Odumeje has appeared in music videos and granted media interviews, extending his public presence beyond the pulpit.
