Billionaire businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, has reacted to criticism following his association with an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group.
An APC group, the City Boy Movement, which is campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, recently appointed Obi Cubana as its South-East Coordinator.
The appointment drew reactions on social media, with some users criticising the businessman for aligning with the APC-led administration, which they blamed for the country’s economic situation.
Amid the reactions, Obi Cubana shared a post on his Facebook page stating that his focus is on religious activities.
According to him, his most important assignment at the moment is winning souls for Christ.
He wrote, “The most important assignment now is winning souls for Christ.”
He also added, “Our week is full of blessings and fruitfulness. Time spent in God’s presence.”
Meanwhile, Obi Cubana has also commented on the leadership of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
The businessman spoke during a visit to the Government House in Asaba alongside Pastor Jerry Eze, where he expressed confidence in the governor’s leadership and stated that Delta State is being managed effectively.
He further assured the governor that the Millennium City project would be completed by December.
Obi Cubana also thanked Governor Oborevwori for granting him access during the visit and stated that efforts were ongoing to implement projects in the state.
