Gov. Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in the state, Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha, on his appointment as the chairman of the Governing Board of National Animal Production Research Institute (NAPRI) Zaria, Kaduna.
Nwifuru, in a congratulatory message signed by his chief press secretary, Monday Uzor and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki on Friday, thanked President Bola Tinubu for the appointment.
The governor said that the appointment was timely and deserving, given Okoro-Emegha’s vast experience in public sector administration.
“The appointment is also timely due to the urgency of harnessing agro-allied resources in addressing its deficits in the country.
“This is also a clear recognition of Okoro Emegha’s steadfast loyalty, dedication to service, and leadership excellence,” the statement read.
The governor in the statement, expressed confidence in the APC chairman ‘s capacity to deliver on his assigned undertakings.
“We are confident you will bring your trademark passion and integrity to this new national assignment.
“This will be through leveraging vast opportunities in the agro-allied resources to address inherent deficits.
“I am sure you will justify the confidence Mr. President reposes on you”, the statement read.
