Gospel singers and couple Nikki Laoye and Soul Snatcha have presented their newborn daughter to House on the Rock founder, Pastor Paul Adefarasin.
The couple, who welcomed their daughter Kayla-Dawn in March, a joyful event that coincided with their wedding anniversary, visited the clergyman in London to introduce their baby girl.
Nikki shared a heartwarming video of the visit on Instagram on Friday, capturing the emotional moment Pastor Adefarasin carried their daughter for the first time and prayed over her.
“Kayla-Dawn meets Grandpa @PaulAdefarasin,” she wrote.
“A beautiful moment indeed here in London as Papa finally carries our baby in his arms and blessed her.”
The singer went on to express deep gratitude to the pastor, recalling how he stood by her during the baby’s birth.
“Thank you for holding my hand and speaking life over me that day in the hospital as I brought my baby into this world,” she said.
Nikki revealed that Adefarasin had prophesied about her daughter years before her birth.
“You called her forth in 2022, called out your Famous Five Grandbabies even before she became a reality,” she added with amusement.
She continued, “We are so blessed to have you in our lives sir. You know it all – the highs and the lows your Lil’ Nikki has been through. Thank you for calling us, praying for us, celebrating with us.”
Nikki also thanked Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, Paul’s wife, saying, “We love you and Pastor @ifeanyiadefarasin soo much and we say thank you for celebrating with us, checking up on us and loving us through this season.”
“It’s a New Dawn indeed,” she concluded.
Nikki and Soul Snatcha got engaged in 2021 on her 41st birthday and tied the knot in March 2022.
