Controversial rapper, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has ignited a storm of criticism online following a disturbing confession made during a Instagram live session.
During the session on Tuesday, Speed Darlington recounted an encounter with a 15-year-old girl at a Lagos hotel, making statements that have since drawn widespread condemnation.
In his own words, the rapper said, “I can’t imagine working in a hotel and being the one to clean bedsheets used by strangers cause I recently slept with a 15yr old girl at a certain hotel and she m*ssed up the sheets with bl*d because she was still a virgin.”
He continued, “Before they could come change the sheets for me, I had to let go of N2,000. Because the thing is somehow, to tell an adult to come and clean bld; bld that I brought out of the body of a 15-year-old girl. I can never work for anybody, lai lai. I only work for myself.”
These statements, which were made publicly and without remorse, have triggered outrage across social media platforms.
Many Nigerians took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their anger, with calls for Speed Darlington’s immediate arrest and prosecution.
Several users labeled him a pedophile and demanded that authorities take swift action.
