Nentawe Yilwatda congratulates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nentawe Yilwatda has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria on the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja, Chairman Yilwatda also extended greetings to President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly and party members.

He said Ramadan is a period for reflection, sacrifice and devotion.

He noted that Muslims showed commitment to faith, patience and selflessness during the fasting period.

Yilwatda urged Nigerians to apply the lessons of Ramadan in their daily lives by promoting unity, kindness, justice and fairness.

He called on Nigerians to support the president in his efforts to govern the country.

The APC chairman also asked citizens to use the Eid-el-Fitr period to pray for the country, its leaders and security agencies.

He said the party remains committed to governance and national development.

Nentawe Yilwatda prayed that the fasting and prayers of Muslims would be accepted and wished them well in the celebration.
