Former Big Brother Naija housemate Nengi Hampson has knocked a fan who suggested that fellow reality TV star Ozo is the father of her daughter.
Nengi, who welcomed her first child earlier this year, had taken to X on Thursday to celebrate her baby girl’s beauty.
“I didn’t just give birth.. I curated, designed, created a masterpiece. Nahh my daughter is too fine, I really did my big one with this one,” she wrote.
Reacting to her post, a fan commented: “Why will your daughter not be fine when you are fine and Ozo is a fine guy too?”
Nengi, 27, did not hold back in her response. She replied: “Change your dealer bro.. it’s giving delusional.”
The former beauty queen had in March announced the birth of her daughter on Instagram, sharing a carousel of photos and videos while keeping the child’s face hidden for privacy.
Her post at the time read: “My whole world. On March 2nd 2024, God blessed me with the greatest gift ever. A bouncy, beautiful, healthy baby girl. It’s been three months of loving you unconditionally. Three months of learning and unlearning. And I would do it all over again. Thank you for choosing me.”
The announcement followed weeks of speculation and controversy over the identity of the child’s father.
Social media chatter had earlier linked her pregnancy to Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri, who is known to have multiple wives. The unverified claims gained traction online, prompting Nengi to speak out.
She debunked the rumours, calling them “baseless and false.” The reality star stressed that her pregnancy had no ties to any political figure, including the Bayelsa governor.
Since her exit from the Big Brother Naija show in 2020, Nengi has remained in the spotlight, venturing into fashion and brand influencing.
