Amid the ongoing public drama between Senator Ned Nwoko and actress Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, has shared a post.
Sharing a holiday video on Instagram on Saturday, Laila wrote: “Too busy building my peace, my life and my family – no time for anything else.”
The post comes as tensions between Nwoko and his youngest wife continue to make headlines. Regina recently accused the senator of abuse, manipulation and isolation tactics, while also admitting to past drug use and claiming that their marriage was never legally registered.
Laila previously had her own fallout with Nwoko in November 2021 before they reconciled.
Earlier, Nwoko alleged that Regina’s siblings and close friends sabotaged her rehabilitation by supplying her with drugs and disrupting his household. He said he had spent over N125 million supporting her family, including sponsoring her brothers’ education, yet claimed their actions continued to create chaos.
Regina denied all involvement of her family in the matter, accusing Nwoko of attempting to isolate her and control her life. She also said he encouraged her drug use and tried to manipulate her into submission, seizing her phones and locking her up when she resisted.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko married in 2019 and have two children together.
