Billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko has reacted to a viral bathroom video of him posted online by his wife, Regina Daniels, after she faced backlash.
The 24-year-old came under fire on Monday after sharing a controversial video of her husband in a compromising moment on Instagram. The clip began with Nwoko lying in bed beside their child.
The video then showed the lawmaker in the bathroom attempting to urinate while Regina stood nearby preparing to brush her teeth. Despite his visible confusion at being recorded, Regina continued filming as he relieved himself, partly concealing his private area with the word “MINE” written across the video.
What drew more attention was the soundtrack Regina chose – a trending TikTok audio from an old Nollywood film with lyrics declaring, “Husband is useless, yeye man must die…”
In her caption, Regina admitted she was deliberately trying to annoy her husband.
The post sparked heavy criticism from social media users.
Mwana Nzengo wrote: “That is a price of marrying a girl who is your child’s age.”
Onyinyechi Emmanuel commented: “Madam delete this video, please this is a senator for crying out loud, when bloggers will use this video and turn it to another thing now your eyes go clear.”
Miss Von added: “A lot of things wrong here 1. Background music 2. Posting a whole senator peeing 3. It’s your matrimonial bed for crying out loud, it deserves respect and privacy 4. The fact that you didn’t see any problem posting this 😮.”
Reacting to the viral clip via the comment section, Ned Nwoko referred to Regina as the “wife of my old age,” writing:
“This wife of my old as I call her self. Come here!”
Regina quickly replied: “Ha! He commented! Sorry, babe.”
