Quincy Ayodele, a socialite and herbal medicine practitioner, as well as a member of Pastor Idowu Iluyomade’s newly established church, The Family Fellowship in Lagos, has shared a testimony of how her grandson won an inter-school piano competition without formal lessons.
A video from the Sunday service, shared by City People on Monday, captured Mrs Ayodele, founder of Quincy Herbals, sharing her testimont.
A regular member of the church since its inception, she expressed amazement at her grandson’s unexpected success.
“This particular grandson of mine, we did not get him a piano teacher because we bought the piano just for decoration. But every night, he would sit at the piano and play. One day, he was invited for an inter-school piano competition, and I was surprised. I asked, ‘What are you going to play there?’ To the glory of God, he went for the competition and emerged first,” she recounted.
Other clips from the service showed members of the church dancing, Siju Iluyomade leading a prayer session and various activities marking the day’s service.
The service, held at Oriental Hotel in Lagos, was themed “Stakeholders in the Marketplace” and featured Wisdom Chigozie as the music minister.
On January 19, 2025, Pastor Iluyomade and his wife, Siju, unveiled their ministry, The Family Fellowship, through a series of social media posts and an inaugural service held at an event center in Victoria Island, Lagos.
A week later, during the church’s second service on January 26 at the Civic Centre, Lagos, Iluyomade announced that The Family Fellowship had secured a permanent site at Eko Atlantic City, with the land donated by a church member.
