Entertainer and content creator Carter Efe has shared how his father was killed during an armed robbery by men dressed in military camouflage.

Caterefe, in an episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, said his father, a police sergeant, was travelling home in Ogun State after work when their vehicle stopped in a traffic gridlock.

Armed men in military attire were reportedly robbing at the scene.

He explained:

“My dad had closed from duty and was heading home but he decided to enter the police van to the nearest bus‑stop to our house, we were saying at Ogun State then.

“However, they ran into a gridlock and some men in military camouflage were robbing. My dad and his colleagues alighted from the van to check what was going but immediately the robbers spotted them in police uniform, they opened fire on them. My dad is on YouTube, I saw my dad’s lifeless body on the ground with police uniform.
“I am no stranger to pain. I have gone through a lot of pains. So, there is no pain that will make me stop my grind.”

Caterefe said the attack happened in 2015, when he was in junior secondary school. He saw his father’s lifeless body on video, and the incident left a lasting impact on him.
