Singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has praised his estranged wife Annie Idibia and the mothers of his other children, describing them as amazing women.
In an interview with media personality Nedu Wazobia, the father of seven expressed admiration for all the women who have helped him raise his children.
“The mothers of my children are amazing. They’re amazing people,” he said.
He added with a smile, “Annie is amazing. My Annie,” referring fondly to the actress whom he married in 2012.
2Baba also spoke about his lover Natasha Osawaru, simply saying, “Natasha is amazing,” without giving further details.
Despite the speculations surrounding his relationships, the 48-year-old singer made it clear that his main priority remains his children.
“The only people that are really of concern to me are my kids,” he said.
2Baba shares seven children with three women. He has two sons, Nino and Zion, with Sumbo Adeoye; three children, Ehi, Justin and Innocent Jr., with Pero Adeniyi; and two daughters, Isabella and Olivia, with Annie Idibia.
Although 2Baba and Annie celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2022, their marriage hit a rough patch in early 2025 when the singer announced on Instagram that they had been separated for a while and he had filed for divorce.
The announcement, which came on January 26, caused confusion online after the singer deleted the post and claimed his account was hacked. He later admitted that he made the post himself, saying in a video, “Nobody hacked my account. Na me talk wetin I want yan.”
Annie, who went silent following the announcement, later returned to social media with a message of gratitude, dropping the Idibia surname in her bio and signing off as “Annie Uwana Macaulay.”
In March, she shared a post thanking family, friends and fans for their support during the difficult period.
2Baba and Annie had their traditional wedding in Lagos in 2012 and a white wedding in Dubai in 2013.
