Mr Latin pays condolence visit to Odunlade Adekola after father’s death

President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has paid a condolence visit to actor Odunlade Adekola following the death of his father, Pastor N.A. Adekola.

Mr Latin shared a video of the visit on Instagram on Tuesday, showing him and his family at the actor’s residence to commiserate with him.

He wrote:
“My family and I paid a heartfelt condolence visit to our dear brother and colleague, @odunomoadekola following the passing of his beloved father.

“It was a moment to offer our prayers, support, and solidarity during this time of deep loss.
We pray that the Almighty grants the departed eternal rest and gives the entire Adekola family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
May his legacy continue to shine through the lives he touched.”

Odunlade Adekola had announced the death of his father, Pastor N.A. Adekola, in an Instagram post on Saturday.

Sharing a photo of the late clergyman, the Elesin Oba actor simply wrote: “Rest on my daddy.”

The cause of death was not disclosed.

Until his death, Pastor Adekola was a respected clergyman and community leader based in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He was also known for his dedication to the ministry and his close relationship with his son.

Following the announcement, several of Odunlade’s colleagues in the movie industry, expressed their condolences online and praised the actor for the way he honored his father’s legacy.

Odunlade, a prominent figure in the Yoruba movie industry, is known for his roles in films such as Alani Pamolekun, Saamu Alajo and Jankariwo.

He is also the founder of Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP), which has trained several rising talents in Nollywood.

Funeral arrangements for Pastor Adekola are yet to be officially announced by the family.
