Actress Tonto Dikeh has appreciated her former husband Olakunle Churchill on Mother’s Day for making her a mother.
The 40-year-old shared the message on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the businessman for the role he played in her becoming a parent.
“Olakunle Churchill, thank you my Gee for making me a mother. One of the most beautiful gifts of my life. God bless you, Big Church.”
She also reflected on her life in the post, writing: “My life is so beautiful.”
Tonto and Churchill were married in 2015 and welcomed their son King Andre in 2016. Their marriage ended in 2017 after a public dispute that played out on social media and in interviews.
In recent times, however, both appear to have shifted their focus to co-parenting their son King Andre. Churchill has previously acknowledged the actress for raising the boy and expressed appreciation for her role as a mother.
The improved relationship was also evident when the former couple marked King Andre’s birthday. Churchill celebrated the occasion with messages and photos dedicated to his son, while Tonto also shared tributes to the celebrant.
