Actress and producer Mo Bimpe has announced a new name for her film production company.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, she wrote:
“New year. New chapter. New name. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m officially announcing a new era in my journey.”
Her production company began nine years ago with Dear Sister as Oyebade Adebimpe Productions (OAP), marking her first step into filmmaking. After her marriage to actor Lateef Adedimeji, the company became Oyebade Bimpe Adedimeji Productions (OBAP), producing several films and launching Mobimpe TV.
Mo Bimpe said the new name reflects her current goals:
“Growth demands change… and the change is here 😊 I am proud to introduce MOBIMPE ADEDIMEJI PRODUCTIONS (MAP). Strictly for Mobimpe’s productions. This isn’t just a name change. It’s clarity. It’s elevation. It’s alignment with where I am and where I’m headed.”
She added:
“MAP is here, and trust me, everything just got better. Stronger stories. Bigger vision. Greater impact. Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. The best is no longer coming… The best is here.. Let’s begin the year officially.”
Mo Bimpe also revealed the first film under the new company, Deadly Getaway:
“Our first MAP’s title is DEADLY GETAWAY… DEADLY GETAWAY is coming to MOBIMPE TV✨ This movie is very special, A solid 10/10 drama🤍 From the story, to the cast, the directing, the plot, the twist, everything about this one is TOPNOTCH 🔥”
Mo Bimpe is known for her work in Yoruba cinema and has produced films that have gained recognition on digital platforms.
