Mo Abudu shares first report on EbonyLife ON Plus performance

Media executive Mo Abudu has released early performance figures for EbonyLife ON Plus, the global digital platform her company launched on November 6, 2025.

Mo shared the update on Tuesday in a post on Instagram, writing, “ EbonyLife ON Plus launched on 6th November, 2025. Today, we are sharing our performance report with you all.”

She stated that the platform recorded 89 per cent subscriber retention, meaning nearly nine out of every ten subscribers remain active month to month, and a 21 percent conversion rate, with about one quarter of registered users becoming paying subscribers.

She added that the audience is split between Nigeria and the global diaspora, with 51 per cent in Nigeria and 49 per cent outside the country, noting strong viewership across the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Ghana. She also said more than 80 percent iOS adoption reflects a high value digital audience, adding, “Built for Africa. Streaming worldwide”.

EbonyLife ON Plus was launched as a global digital platform hosting African films, series, podcasts, masterclasses and e learning content.

The service is positioned as a lifestyle platform aimed at showcasing African creativity while connecting audiences worldwide. Its content includes original films and series, podcasts such as Moments with Mo, and masterclass sessions led by industry professionals.
