The Kingdom Film Festival (KFF) has concluded its latest edition in Lagos with film screenings, panel sessions, workshops and the inauguration of a new board of directors led by filmmaker and drama minister Mike Bamiloye.

The three day event held at Silverbird Cinemas and other venues on Victoria Island brought together faith based filmmakers, actors and creative professionals. The screenings featured films centred on themes of faith, culture and community engagement.

Toyosi Etim-Effiong served as one of the main speakers at the event with Stan Nze also delivering a speech.

At the closing ceremony, organisers announced a new governing board for the festival and confirmed Mike Bamiloye as chairman. They said the board will guide the direction of future editions and support faith based content creators across the country.

Bamiloye, known for leading Mount Zion Faith Ministries, has been a prominent figure in Christian filmmaking and has helped train many gospel filmmakers and drama ministers.

The festival also presented awards and recognition for outstanding work. Organisers said the event continues to serve as a platform for faith based storytellers to showcase their films and connect with colleagues in the industry.

The Kingdom Film Festival is one of the film events contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s creative sector. The new board is expected to strengthen the festival’s impact, expand its reach and encourage collaboration among filmmakers who combine artistic expression with messages rooted in faith and social responsibility.
