Michael Effiong’s wife Oluwakemi buried in Lagos

Oluwakemi James Michael Effiong James wife

Oluwakemi James, wife of former Ovation editor and senior special assistant to the Akwa Ibom State governor Michael Effiong James, has been buried in Lagos.

The burial service was held on Wednesday at Stella Hall, Daystar Christian Centre, Oregun, Ikeja, after which she was buried at Atan Cemetery.

She died on March 13 from injuries sustained in a domestic accident at her home in Ogba.

She was 53.

Her husband attended the service with their two children, Futre and Anie.

Among those present were Dele Momodu, Toyin Saraki and Michael Dada.

Others included Layinka Oyedeji, Henry Akinyele, Benny Obaze, Omotunde Lawson, Abiola Aloba, Oladele Ogunlana, Seyi Orolugbagbe and Idowu Agarau.

At the graveside were Olumide Iyanda and Azuh Arinze, alongside members of the January 9 Collective (J9C).

Henry Alade, Olumide Adeyemi, Adetola Oshindero and Kingsley James were also present.

A service of songs was held on Tuesday at the same venue, with Governor Umo Eno, Mrs Saraki, Ituah Ighodalo and Mr Iyanda in attendance.
