Actress Mercy Johnson has announced the release of her first book, which focuses on puberty education for children.
The 41-year-old also disclosed that she is studying Functional Medicine at the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine and recently signed on as an ambassador for a new brand.
She shared the news in an Instagram post on Thursday.
The post read, “Life Lately… Grateful & Growing ✨
“I’ve been a little quiet on here, but for good reason — I have been building, learning, and embracing new assignments.
“📚 I recently wrote a book on puberty for children ages 10–13 — a heartfelt project designed to guide young minds through one of the most important transitions of their lives with clarity, confidence, and the right information.
“🎓 I’m currently deep into my studies in Functional Medicine at the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine. The journey has been intense, but incredibly fulfilling. Expanding my knowledge in holistic health is not just academic it is purpose-driven.
“🤝 I’m excited to have signed on as an ambassador for a new brand (more details soon!). It’s always an honor to represent values and vision that align with mine.
“🏛️ I’ve also taken on a new responsibility as Special Adviser on Public Engagement And Advocacy, to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo. This assignment is one I hold with deep commitment to service, impact, and meaningful change.

She was recently appointed Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy by Edo State governor Monday Okpebholo. In that role, she is expected to support the administration’s communication and advocacy efforts.
The actress, who is married to politician Prince Okojie, continues to combine her film career with public service.
