Actress Mercy Aigbe on Saturday shared a video showing the moment she comforted her colleague Faithia Williams during the funeral of her mother.
The video, posted on Instagram, showed Faithia in tears as Mercy stood beside her, comforting her during the burial ceremony.
In the caption accompanying the video, Mercy reflected on the pain of losing a mother and offered prayers to her colleague.
“Today I stood beside my Big Sis @faithiawilliams as she laid her beloved mother to rest.
Having recently walked this painful path myself, I know how heavy this moment is.
May God grant her mum eternal rest and give you and your family the strength to carry on.

Several colleagues in the film industry attended the event, including Saidi Balogun and Iyabo Ojo, who came to support Faithia and her family.
The interment and lying in state followed a wake keep held on Friday. A Thanksgiving Mass is scheduled for Sunday, March 8 at St. Monica Catholic Church.
Mercy’s message also reflected her personal experience of loss. In September 2025, the actress announced the death of her mother, Abisola Owodunni. She shared tributes on social media at the time, describing her mother as her greatest supporter and expressing the pain of losing her.
