Meet Nonye Soludo, the woman set to become Anambra’s next first lady

Nonye Soludo, wife of the governor-elect of Anambra State Charles Soludo, is about to become the next first lady of the state.

Mrs Soludo joined her husband during the campaign train of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, promising to empower women and children across the state.

Born on July 31, 1970, the 51-year-old hails from Aguata LGA of Anambra State, just like her husband.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1991-1995) and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Westminster, UK (2006).

Mrs Soludo has a couple of business interests. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Healthy Living Foods Ltd based in the UK.

She is also the managing director of a real estate company Charles Frances Properties in London.

Her union with Soludo has produced six children – two girls and four boys.

She loves to cook and exercise.
