Former inspector general of police and chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mike Okiro, will on Saturday chair the inauguration of Noble Ladies Association International and the unveiling of its magazine in Abuja.
According to a statement by the association’s president, Margaret Mkpuma, the event will be held at the Arts & Culture Centre, Area 10, Abuja, from 12 noon.
The ceremony will also serve as the inaugural convention of the women’s group with the theme “Women Leading the Way: Inspiring Impact through Innovation and Collaboration.”
A panel session will spotlight exceptional female leaders across sectors who are driving positive change through visionary leadership, innovation and strategic partnerships.
Panellists are expected to share personal journeys, address challenges faced in society and the workplace and provide insights into building sustainable initiatives that uplift communities and amplify women’s voices in governance, entrepreneurship, technology, media and other fields.
Notable dignitaries expected at the event include Anambra State governor Charles Soludo, philanthropist and entrepreneur Arthur Eze, Imo State governor Hope Uzodinma and secretary to the government of the federation, Senator George Akume.
Mrs Mkpuma noted that the association’s mission is to inspire, empower and connect women globally while championing innovation and collaboration as tools for impactful leadership.
