Singer Adekunle Gold has celebrated seven years of marriage with wife and fellow singer Simi, sharing memories of their journey together.
On Tuesday, Adekunle Gold posted photos on his Instagram page, including recent pictures with Simi and throwback images. In the post, he wrote:
“Seven years ago, I married my best friend. And somehow, every year since then has been gentler than the last. We’ve laughed hard, grown deeply, prayed sincerely, and chosen each other again and again. And through it all, loving you has been the easiest, most beautiful decision of my life. Seven years in and my heart still knows where it belongs. I love you Simi.”
Adekunle Gold and Simi were married on January, 2019, after years of friendship and musical collaboration. They welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko, in May 2020.
Last week, the couple announced the arrival of twin babies. Adekunle Gold shared the news on social media, saying:
“Asked God for another child and He blessed me double.”
The names and genders of the twins have not been made public.
