Yinka Theisen has fired back at her estranged partner, actor Linc Edochie, after he publicly distanced himself from her following a controversy involving May Edochie.
Qed.ng earlier reported that Linc, the elder brother of Yul Edochie, had in an Instagram post disassociated himself from Yinka after she posted May’s phone number online.
He condemned the act, stating that he did not support the harassment of May, who is Yul’s estranged wife and advised against retaliatory actions online.
He wrote: “I do not endorse anyone attacking May or releasing her number online. I find such behavior distasteful and unnecessary. It is better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines.”
Yinka, however, took to Facebook on Tuesday to address the breakup, claiming she had a disagreement with Linc earlier in the day and threatened to end the relationship.
According to her, the actor blocked her shortly after and issued the public statement distancing himself.
“You may all continue to laugh at me,” she wrote.
“I had a quarrel with Linc this morning, and was upset and threatened to break up. Next thing, I was blocked, and he broke up in the most embarrassing way. His brother Leo then made a nasty recording about me.”
The US-based woman expressed disappointment over how the man she loved chose to end things with her out of fear and under public scrutiny.
“It is sad that a man I love can throw me under the bus over an argument because of fear. Since he has cowardly embarrassed me on social media, I will respond in kind,” she added.
Yinka also alleged that Linc was the one who gave her number to May, despite now appearing to take sides. She thanked a religious figure, Apostle Ugo Wems, for offering her support during the ordeal.
“The same Linc who gave May my number is defending himself. Thank you, Apostle Ugo Wems, for uplifting me tonight! Just for the record, I am doing great now!” she wrote.
The drama adds another layer to the already messy public fallout in the Edochie family following Yul’s controversial marriage to actress Judy Austin, which has strained ties between him and his first wife May.
Linc, who had previously kept a low profile in the ongoing family controversy, has been vocal in recent times about maintaining peace and distancing himself from toxic exchanges.
