Actress Laide Bakare has shared her thoughts on marriage and remarriage in an interview.
Speaking on the Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, Laide said she does not see a problem with getting married again if a relationship is not working.
“My religion doesn’t allow women marrying multiple times, but if I am not getting it right, I am not getting it right! There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyways. Lonely? I can never feel lonely. I don’t feel lonely,” she said.
Laide has been active in Nollywood for years, producing, acting and directing Yoruba films.
In December 2025, she shared photos with her mother and daughter, highlighting three generations of her family.
