The Lagos chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has named a motor park in Oyingbo after President Bola Tinubu.
The facility, to be known as the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Motor Park, is located in Oyingbo, Ebute Metta, along Atitebi Apapa Road.
It is scheduled to be unveiled on Tuesday in the presence of state and union officials.
Lagos State NURTW Chairman, Mustapha Adekunle Sego, is leading the event.
The project also includes an emergency unit for union members.
The park is expected to be commissioned by Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Dignitaries billed to attend include Rilwan Akiolu, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor Tayo Ayinde, Commissioner for Transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi and Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation Sola Giwa.
The motor park adds to a list of public facilities named after the President since he assumed office on May 29, 2023.
In March 2024, the airport in Minna was renamed Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport.
In May 2024, a road in Abuja was renamed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way and a building at the National Assembly was named after him.
In January 2025, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Polytechnic was established in Gwarinpa and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Barracks in Abuja was inaugurated.
The NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Adamawa State was also named after him in 2025.
