Actor Kunle Remi is celebrating his daughter, Wonder, as she turns one year old.
Taking to his Instagram page on Sunday, Kunle shared a video showing his wife in the hospital during the birth of their child.
He captioned the post, “Wonder is a year old today and we give thanks to the most WONDERFUL JESUS. ‘O Death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1 Corinthians 15:55’.”
The actor and his wife Tiwi, welcomed their daughter after a challenging pregnancy and delivery. Wonder was born prematurely at 26 weeks following medical complications that required Kunle’s wife to be placed on extended bed rest. The early arrival meant the baby had to spend several weeks receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Kunle later disclosed that his daughter spent over 80 days in the hospital before she was strong enough to go home. He described the period as one marked by uncertainty, frequent hospital visits and reliance on faith as the family waited for steady improvement.
The actor has since spoken about the experience as a defining moment for his family, noting that the journey strengthened his gratitude.
Kunle Remi married his wife in January 2024 in ceremonies attended by family, friends and members of the entertainment industry.
