Singer Korede Bello has said he has a new song with a sound similar to Omah Lay’s track ‘I AM’.
In a post on X on Thursday, Korede said the song, titled WAIT, had already been recorded and was prepared for release, while addressing possible reactions from fans when it drops.
He wrote, “By the way, I have a song with similar sonics as Omah Lays ‘I am’. I don record am since. I say make I clear una now before y’all start moving mad when it drops. It’s called WAIT, wait for it.”
Omah Lay’s ‘I AM’ is one of his recent releases, featuring his usual blend of Afrobeats and R&B.
Omah Lay is known for his introspective style and has remained one of the notable voices in Afrobeats since his breakout in 2020.
