Managing director and chief executive officer of NG Clearing Limited, Farooq Oreagba, has once again captivated attention with his grand return to the Ojude Oba Festival, nearly a year after his style at the 2024 edition went viral.

Oreagba turned heads in 2024 after a video of him riding a horse with flair—one hand on the reins, the other holding a cigar—earned him the nickname “Mr Steeze” on social media.

His bold fashion choices and confident presence transformed him into an internet sensation.

This year, the 58-year-old made another iconic appearance at the 2025 Ojude Oba Festival held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

He shared photos of his regal attire on Instagram on Saturday, showing him decked in a rich brown and grey agbada and sokoto ensemble, complete with a matching cap.

He finished the look with silver jewellery, including a Cuban link chain, bracelet, and a black staff topped with a lion-headed sceptre.

He captioned one of his posts, “The King Of Steeze is back!! Did you miss me? #KingOfSteeze #OjudeOba2025 #Steeze”

In a video shared online, Oreagba was seen riding a decorated horse and waving at the crowd.

The Ojude Oba Festival is a cultural celebration organised annually by the Ijebu people of Ogun State.

Held on the third day after Eid-el-Kabir, the festival—literally meaning “The King’s Forecourt”—brings together age-grade groups (regberegbe), dignitaries, entertainers, and indigenes in honour of the Awujale of Ijebuland.

The event is a vibrant display of culture, fashion, and unity, with participants dressed in traditional fabrics such as Adire, Aso Oke, Agbada and Iro and Buba. Originally established by Muslim converts in the 19th century to pay homage to their king, the festival has evolved into a grand celebration of Ijebu identity and heritage.
