Actor Rotimi Salami has expressed appreciation to Nigerians as his film Kilanko grosses over N33.3 million at the box office.
In a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Rotimi posted a promotional poster announcing the milestone.
He wrote, “THANK YOU NIGERIANS🙏🏾
KILANKO hits 33.3m+ and still counting
Another reason to support us by watching KILANKO
Now showing in selected cinemas Nationwide.”
The update comes days after Rotimi appealed to Nigerians to support the film in cinemas, stating that it was not performing well and risked being removed from screens.
Kilanko is produced by Rotimi and directed by Allwell Ademola. The film was released in Nigerian cinemas in 2026.
The movie centres on a man caught in difficult personal and social circumstances, exploring themes of survival, relationships and the consequences of his decisions.
