Kennis FM presenter Ifeoluwa Ajagbe has died at the age of 38.
Ajagbe died on Sunday, December 21.
Radiocast NG announced her death on Monday in a statement titled, “R.I.P IFEOLUWA ‘IFE’ AJAGBE. REST WELL IFE. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.”
The statement described Ajagbe as a broadcast journalist, radio host and A and R consultant whose death has affected colleagues in the media and music industry.
Ajagbe was born in Osun State.
She began her media career during her National Youth Service Corps at Zuma FM.
She later worked as a presenter at Gold 95.5 FM in Ilesha and Metro 97.7 FM in Lagos.
She rose to wider recognition after creating and hosting Celeb Stopover with Ife Ajagbe, an entertainment interview platform that featured Nigerian and international artistes.
Ajagbe later became host of The Breakfast Show on Kennis 104.1 FM.
In July 2023, she was appointed Head of Operations for Symphonic West Africa, where she worked in digital music distribution, artist development and A and R services.
Kennis FM also confirmed her death on Tuesday, writing, “Gone but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Ifeoluwa Olupona (NEE AJAGBE).”
Ife Ajagbe is survived by her husband, Lanre Olupona.
