Actress Kate Henshaw has fired back at a troll who tried to shame her on social media by dredging up her past relationship with late gospel singer Sammie Okposo.
The troll posted a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) from an old interview in which Kate revealed that Sammie used to physically abuse her during their time together.
Kate and Sammie were reportedly in a relationship for about three to four years in the early 2000s.
At the time, many fans believed they would eventually get married. However, the relationship ended and both moved on.
Taking a jab at Kate’s personal life, the troll wrote, “Aunty Kate, I heard someone say that you’re just a bitter old ‘agbaya’ woman because you’ve been let down by men too many times and ended up ‘husbandless’. Is that true?”
The Blood Sisters star clapped back with a sharp response. She acknowledged the experience but made it clear it didn’t break her.
“Awwww, I am still here, though. These things happen, and I am better not bitter,” she said.
Then she took a swipe at the troll’s family, adding, “Can’t say the same for the females in your family. I saw one at farmcity the other night. I hope the pay she brought home fed the family for the night, though. I am good, to be honest. Next…..”
