Kano State Hisbah Board has sacked one of its top officials who allegedly slept with a married woman in a hotel in Sabon Gari area of Kano metropolis.
The official was earlier this year allegedly found in a questionable position with the married woman in the hotel and arrested.
Kano Hisbah spokesperson Lawal Fagge told reporters on Tuesday that the official had been relieved of his duties following a report by a committee set up by the board to probe the incident.
Before the incident, the official was reportedly at the forefront of arresting prostitutes and wayward girls.
