Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has warmed hearts on social media after paying a surprise visit to his son, Montel, in the United States.
The 63-year-old shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday showing the emotional moment he walked into Montel’s workplace in Maryland.
Kanayo captioned the post: “I paid a surprise visit to my son, Montel @sincerelymontel at his workplace in Maryland. We hadn’t seen in about a year and the rest is history. THE BOY IS GOOD. Thank you for the hug, boy.”
In the clip, one of Montel’s colleagues praised him, saying, “He is such a hard worker, he is a good guy.” Kanayo responded proudly, “I trained him to be great.”
The movie star also used the moment to encourage parents to always check on their children no matter the distance.
Kanayo is married to Nneka Onyekwere. Their marriage is blessed with four children, Valerie, Clinton, Einstein and Montel.
He has featured in several Nollywood blockbusters and won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2006.
