The burial committee of the Reverend Ayuba Azzaman has concluded plans for his burial, with ceremonies scheduled to begin this week in Kaduna.
Azzaman, known for his online presence and interfaith debates, died in a car accident on Saturday, May 24, while travelling back to Kaduna from Makurdi, Benue State.
Chairman of the burial committee, Victor Zakka, in a statement, appreciated the outpouring of support following the cleric’s sudden death.
“We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers and condolences received from across Nigeria and beyond since the revered cleric’s passing,” he said.
He also announced the schedule of events to honour the late preacher, who was the founder of The King’s World Chapel and Ministry.
A service of songs will be held on Thursday, at 4:00 PM at L.E.A Primary School, Sabo GRA, via James Bawa Magaji Road, off Kaduna-Kachia Express Road.
The burial service follows the next day, Friday, at 10:00 AM, at The King’s World Chapel and Ministry, located at No. 72 Kunai Street, off Post Office Road, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna.
“This will be followed immediately by the final interment at Barnawa Christian Burial Ground,” the committee stated.
