Johnson Suleman reacts to Jos attack, blames leadership

Apostle Johnson Suleman

Founder of Omega Fire Ministries Johnson Suleman has reacted to the recent attack in Jos, saying it shows a failure in leadership.

In a post shared on his social media platform on Monday, Apostle Suleman said leaders are placing political interests above the safety of citizens.

“Jos attack is another sign that leadership is failing,” he said, adding that it reflects “leadership that puts politics before protecting people’s lives.”

He said public officials are focusing on political activities instead of addressing insecurity.

“Instead of wasting our shared heritage on pre-election parties and preparations, future generations will decide whether this leadership now supports, allows, and repeats what it once opposed,” he said.

Johnson Suleman said prayer alone cannot replace responsibility in governance.

“I believe in the power of prayers, but prayers alone cannot take the place of responsibility,” he said.

He also expressed support for families affected by the attack.

“We support the families who lost their loved ones and pray for strength to face the pain of their loss,” he added.
