Singer Jodie has announced that her special version of ‘Kuchi Kuchi’ is the official soundtrack for Mother’s Love, a new film by actress Omotola Jalade.

She made the disclosure in a Facebook post on Monday while sharing a video from the movie’s premiere, which held on Sunday.

Jodie wrote, “About last night at Omotola Jalade Ekeinde’s movie premiere – Mother’s Love 🔥 Guess what, my special version of Kuchi Kuchi is the OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK for the movie! ❤️ Out in cinemas nationwide March 6, 2026.

“Denrele Edun is the vibe ⚡⚡⚡ Your hype can turn copper to gold. Thank you for the intro. ”

The film is scheduled for release in cinemas nationwide on March 6.

Jodie rose to fame with her 2010 hit song ‘Kuchi Kuchi’, which became popular for its emotional lyrics centred on a mother’s love for her child. The song earned her wide recognition in Nigeria and beyond.

In recent weeks, the singer has been in the news over her personal life. She alleged that her ex-husband had been withholding her music royalties. She also accused him of abandoning her and their child during a difficult period in her life.

In a series of social media posts, Jodie said she struggled financially and emotionally after the marriage ended. She claimed she was left to cater for their child alone and had to deal with health challenges without support.
