There has been a fire accident at the office of actress Iyabo Ojo.

The 47-year-old shared the news on social media late Tuesday night, expressing gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident.

“This just happened today the 8th of July 2025 around 7pm. My office building caught fire,” she wrote.

Iyabo also shared a video showing the damage caused by the fire. Burnt furniture, scattered debris, and smoke-blackened walls were seen in the short clip.

Although the video she shared showed a Lagos State Fire Service truck on the scene of the fire, she thanked the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their quick response in containing the situation.

“Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully no lives were lost,” she added.

Describing the experience as a test of faith, she said, “The devil tested us today but God said no. With God on my side we will bounce back bigger and better.”

The actress did not disclose the cause of the fire or the extent of the losses.

Since her post, several of her colleagues in the entertainment industry have sent messages of sympathy and support.

Comedian Princess wrote: “What is coming is better than what is lost in Jesus’ mighty name no evil will befall you or staff. God is worthy to be praised.”

“Thank God no lives were lost. You will definitely bounce back,” Gloria Young wrote.

Yinka Quadri added, “All glory be to God, just take heart.”

“Jesuuuuu so sorry sis, the Almighty God will come through for you ijmn,” Toyin Adewale wrote.

“Omg! So sorry,” Mercy Aigbe wrote.

Mercy Aigbe experienced a similar ordeal in December last year when her house was also destroyed by fire.
